Clifford Cada, a Filipino, 33 years old, is currently working as a Business Architect for a well-known technology company in San Jose, California. He has been engaged in SFA and CRM projects for various companies from technology, manufacturing and financial services. Some of his previous engagements were: Pitney-Bowes, Inc., The Bank of New York, and Sun Life Financial. He has over twelve years of business application development experience, able to handle all aspects of medium to large scale development efforts. Work HistoryPrior to his work in San Jose, he was a Siebel Consultant for ePairs, Inc., a boutique professional services firm specializing in Siebel eBusiness Applications where he was engaged with clients in their implementation of SFA and CRM powered Siebel eBusiness Applications. Previously, he was a consultant at Headstrong Philippines. He has been involved in configuration, integration, administration and upgrading of Siebel Financial Services 6.3 and 7.0.4, as well as Siebel Industry Application 7.5. He worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at Sun Life Financial. He joined Sun Life Financial in 1995 as a Programmer Trainee and progressed to a Senior Systems Analyst with exemplary performance, participating in major systems development and integration work in projects in Hong Kong, Indonesia, and the Philippines. As an entrepreneur, he established Clifford Computers where he gained experience in computer and network operations, as well as technical training and education. He provided PC solutions to individuals and small businesses. He also developed and conducted a Java Programming training program to students at Informatics Computer Institute. In a project management role, he led the team that developed the repository of customer data for all business lines, and the staging area for integration with Siebel eBusiness. He has managed the maintenance and enhancement of the Mutual Funds administration System, from planning, to managing vendor relationship and communication, change management, software congfiguration management, facilitating user testing and implementation. As Systems Analyst, he has designed and implemented the following systems and solutions: a central repository of customer information, a sales and management reporting solution, a repository of historical mainframe data, a staging area for agents' data, an insurance policy contract generator, and a lead management database. He has also developed training programs and conducted training for Java and Siebel eBusiness Administration and Configuration. He also conducted end-user training for the sales force of Sun Life Financial. Mr. Cada has also conducted studies and wrote research papers for Sun Life Financial ranging from database management systems, development tools, and infrastructure standards. He authored Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals for policy document generation applications. As a programmer, he developed in Visual Basic, Java, Oracle PL/SQL, and configured Siebel eBusiness Applications v6.3 and v7 based on user requirements and program specifications. He jointly developed a home-grown sales force automation system called the Agent Micro System, and an insurance quote tool for Hong Kong, India and the Philippines. Having worked on both sides of IT, as an internal resource and as an external consultant, he became familiar with business processes, as well as IT development processes - project management, software configuration management, different tools and technologies, quality assurance, vendor management. Working in the financial services sector gave him insight into security, confidentiality, compliance, and working within strict operating parameters. Education and TrainingMr. Cada graduated from the De La Salle University in 1995 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He attended business and technical trainings at the Ateneo de Manila Information Technology Institute, Asia Pacific College, Microsoft, and Siebel. He also attended PMP-aligned Project Management Training through George Washington University.
