About Me
Clifford Cada, Filipino, 35 years old, is currently working in Sales Operations at a well known technology company in Silicon Valley. His background is in Information Technology and has implemented business applications and tools that helped companies increase sales productivity and drive customer satisfaction.
He most recently implemented Channel Deal Registration worldwide using Salesforce.com,and prior to that, Sales Force Automation using SAP CRM. His main areas of focus are currently Direct and Channel Sales, but has previously engaged with Marketing and Customer Care to help them reach their objectives.
He has over fourteen years of business application experience, able to handle all aspects of medium to large scale implementation efforts. He has worked with various business units including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance and Administration. His technical skill, coupled with his knowledge of the business operations, and his communication and leadership skills helped him make valuable contributions to the people, teams and companies he has worked with.
His key principle is to start with solid business process, which drives good requirements, leading to good design and ultimately a successful project. "Never automate a broken process," is a common theme in his projects.
Work History
Before his current responsibility, he was a Siebel Consultant for a boutique professional services firm specializing in Siebel eBusiness Applications where he engaged with clients in their implementation of SFA and CRM powered Siebel eBusiness Applications, solving complex business problems using Siebel technologies.
Previously, he was a Consultant based in the Philippines. He worked on configuration, integration, administration and upgrading of Siebel Financial Services 6.3 and 7.0.4, as well as Siebel Industry Application 7.5 primarily a large financial institution in New York. These major projects improved sales team productivity and streamlined back-end business processes.
He worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at one of the largest Insurance and Financial Services firms in the Philippines leading and designing for Customer Master projects, CRM, Sales Force Automation, Quoting, and managing vendor relationships.
Education
Mr. Cada graduated from De La Salle University in 1995 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He attended business and technical trainings at the Ateneo de Manila Information Technology Institute, Asia Pacific College, Microsoft, and Siebel. He also attended PMP-aligned Project Management Training through George Washington University.
